MANIFESTO

An identity branding project for an online fashion company that wants to reinvent fashion by determining the latest trends without compromising ethical standpoints - be it fair labour, the environment, animal rights etc. It speaks to a young and increasingly conscientious generation that cares to look good and make an impact.  In other words it truly allows for Fashion to meet Statement. The brand idea inspired by a written manifesto was  largely type driven. Manifesto is softly written in lower case with room for each individual to insert their personal and bold statements. This message carries through the entire brand and specifically in the app in which fashion items are highlighted and arranged according to their manifestos.

Manifesto was chosen as a name for an online fashion company that wants to reinvent fashion by determining the latest trends while ensuring it is sustainably sourced through fair labour, environmental care, local craftsmanship and more. 

It speaks to a young and increasingly conscientious generation that cares to look good and make an impact - so that Fashion meets Statement. The brand concept is inspired by a written manifesto and is therefore largely type driven. The lower case font and dynamic logo purposely leave space for customers to insert their own statements. This message carries through the entire brand and specifically in the app in which fashion items are highlighted and arranged according to their manifestos.
